  • Ski Donkey offers rental deliveries to most lodges, chalets, and rental properties within Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon (i.e. Hellgate, Alta Chalets, Canyon Services, Cottonwood Lodging Company and Snowpine Lodge), and surrounding areas (Holladay, Sandy, Cottonwood Heights). If you’re staying in Snowbird, Brighton, or Solitude, we can also deliver ski rentals to hotels there.

    We do not provide Ski Donkey Services to guests staying at the Alta Lodge, Rustler Lodge, or Goldminer’s Daughter, as our partner, Powder House Ski Shop, operates directly within these lodges and can handle all your rental needs on-site. To reserve your rental skis for these lodges, please visit the Powder House Ski Shop website at www.powderhouseskishop.com.

  • Each reservation comes with one complimentary switch out of equipment per trip. Our Ski Donkey team will meet you at your lodge, rental home, or base area at an agreed upon time.

    Additionally, if you’re skiing at Alta you can stop by any of our three up-canyon locations to switch equipment at no charge.

  • No problem! When selecting the ski you want from our reservation site, select the option ‘Technician’s Choice’. Our technicians will pick the best ski for you based on the current conditions.

  • The Ski Donkey team will give you instructions at the time of your set up for where to leave the gear within your chalet or room. Simply leave the gear in the designated drop off spot and we will collect it after you leave. No need to schedule a pick up

  • We don’t take payment before arrival for all Ski Donkey reservations therefore cancellations will not be charged. If you are not able to make your arrival time due to delayed flights or changes in your travel plan, we will reschedule accordingly.

  • All our rental skis are tuned with the most advanced tuning machine available, the Wintersteiger Jupiter.

  • For those shipping their personal skis, UShipWeTune will deliver to any lodge or rental property in Little Cottonwood Canyon, including Alta Lodge, Rustler Lodge, and Goldminer’s Daughter.

  • Yes! All ski rentals include poles.

  • Delivery costs are fixed and included in our prices for Ski Donkey and UShipWeTune services.

  • Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance. Reservations can be made 24 hours on a case by case basis via phone at (801) 254-4113.
